Our first meeting of the year took place in , again had a decent turnout of over forty cars over the three hours of the meeting.
A plus again, was the number of people who hadn't attended before, keep spreading the word everyone!
The first meeting of the year took place on and what a turnout it was. Lots of new cars and new people, which is always good.
Decent weather helped too. Stand out cars for me were the light blue Ford Capri, the black MG Magnette, the maroon Opel Manta and the light blue mark Ⅱ Ford Cortina — lovely stuff.
Into our third year and the was the date for the first meet of the year, we managed to pick another day that had good weather!
Again we had over forty vehicles attend over the course of the three hours, some we'd seen before but quite a few were newcomers, something I always like. It's good to chat with new people and see how they hear about the show and why they attend.
The last meeting of the year saw a bumper attendance!
Once again we were graced with good weather on the Sunday morning, along with that, lots of people and their cars that we hadn't seen before. Very pleasing was the twenty or so Vespa and Lambretta scooters that put in an appearance, very good to see, they created quite a stir. Also worthy of mention was the military vehicle that just squeezed into the car park and also the vintage Rolls‐Royce and Model T Ford — we don’t get many of those! Along with the line of Jaguars, Jensens, Alfas, VWs and Mustangs etc., there was plenty to look at and chat about.
The 12th July saw some 45 vehicles brave the threat of rain. It was very pleasing to see so many
The 19th April saw the second Shepperton Classic Car Meet. Unbelievably we had over 50 vehicles turn up, even more impressive was the fact that only about 10 were 'returnees' from the first event, the rest were all newcomers. What pleased me most, was the positive comments from the owners and drivers, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The cups of tea & coffee along with bacon rolls from the Three Horsehoes over the road were especially welcome too.
We had our first meeting in September 2014 where 25 cars attended (see photos below).
Next meeting: .
We also have a 'spotted' page, for pictures of classics that have been seen out and about in the London area.
